As the weather warms up, I can’t help but take advantage of the fresh fruit in season. Smoothies are a quick and refreshing snack, especially when you’re on the go. This recipe for Cherry-Lime Smoothie reminds me of the days when I was young child and would sip on cherry limeade during a hot summer day, except this is a much better option as it is naturally sweetened and refined sugar free.

Quick tip: Double the recipe and pour it into molds for popsicles!

Cherry-Lime Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 2

Ingredients:

1½ cups cherries (frozen is fine)
1-2 limes, juiced
½ cup mint
2 handfuls of spinach
Full-fat coconut milk or almond milk, as needed
Ice, as needed

 

Directions:

1.) Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
